Production Supervisor Technician

Olympia Electronics S.A., a leading company in the Greek market for security systems, based in Aiginio, Pieria, is looking to hire a Production Supervisor Technician with the following responsibilities:

Job Summary

The Production Supervisor Technician is responsible for the effective management and supervision of technical and production processes to ensure high-quality and efficient production.

The position emphasizes the automation of processes to increase productivity and reduce costs.

Main Responsibilities

Production Coordination:

• Manage and monitor daily production activities.
• Ensure adherence to schedules and production efficiency.

Quality Assurance:

• Ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Perform quality checks and take corrective actions when necessary.

Problem Solving:

• Address and resolve technical issues that arise during production.

Process Optimization and Automation:

• Identify and implement improvements in production processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Implement and monitor automated production systems.
• Integrate new technologies and automation methods to improve the production process.

Supervision of Tests:

• Oversee large-scale and long-duration product tests.
• Conduct product simulation tests.

Training and Development:

• Train and develop production team members.
• Ensure continuous training and professional development.

Collaboration:

• Collaborate with other departments such as maintenance, quality assurance, and supply chain to ensure smooth production operations.

Reporting:

• Create reports on production performance, issues, and improvements.

Required Qualifications

Education:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
• A postgraduate degree will be considered an advantage.

Experience:

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar position in an industrial environment.

Knowledge:

• Strong knowledge of electronic circuits and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret electronic component identification.
• Knowledge and understanding of PCB design.
• General knowledge of circuit upgrades.
• Knowledge of automation and the integration of new technologies in the production line.

Skills:

• Leadership and team management skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.

Languages:

• Excellent command of Greek and English.
